 Welcome to Lido Key, Florida, one of Sarasota's most popular tourist destinations. Located between Longboat Key and Siesta Key, Lido Key is best known for its golden beaches, waterfront hotels and circular entrance to St. Armands Key.

Named for the islands first resident, Charles St. Armand, the key was later purchased by circus owner John Ringling in the early 1920's. Ringling's circus elephants hauled timber to build the bridge and causeway that connects St. Armand's Key to the Sarasota mainland.
